I love a thing "of the year". I'm keeping a list of some of my favorites here and I'll update them regularly.

A good submission should be...
- Updated every year around New Year's Day
- Somewhat long-running
- Not a person (such as "Teacher of the Year" or "TIME Person of the Year")
- Definitive. There should not be multiple major versions of the same award. ("Song of the Year," "Word of the Year," etc.)
