Hearing the Shape of Data

There are many ways to communicate aspects of data visually. But what about sonically? If we imagine that a cloud of data points is a physical shape and pick a data point to "flick", we can model the sound the shape would make as it vibrates with the impact. A surprising amount of geometric information can be gleaned from the sound, at least in principle! Whether or not you can hear that information in practice is up for debate. Give it a try below!
